The customer needs us to run 3/4" EMT into each box and continue 3/4" out to additional boxes on the next I-beam. Anything better than using lots of self-tapper screws would be an improvement. Thanks, I remember pullng out about a dozen buried boxes in a kitchen remodel. The old guy that used to live there obviously liked to tinker. I'd find a 3/0 metal box, 18" of 12-2, then a 4s box, another 24" of 14-3 then a plastic box wrapped in tape with some UF ..and on and on. 12-3014 Accessibility of junction boxes (1) Pull-in, junction, and outlet boxes, cabinets and gutters, and joints in wires and cables shall be accessible. (2) A vertical space of 900 mm or more shall be required to provide ready access. Looking for a way to connect 3 sets of #6 in a junction box. Swim Spa calls for the wire to come from the disconnect into a junction box and then into the 2 pumps. I was thinking these Polaris multitap connectors would be the best solution but open to all suggestions! Also I originally thought a 6x6 box would be ok but maybe 8x8?
In cases of junction boxes used for making connections from pulled wire runs to bx cables in rooms, I always like to go at least 10 x 10, unless there are very few bx cables. If you go by the code, you can stuff a 6x6 by 4 inch deep box . in plastic boxes= the junction box routinely used with NM to accomodate = to allow for FMC or MC connectors= fittings used to connect conduit or cable to jboxes. I could just leave the romex exposed in the cabinets but I don't like to do that. My point is that this is what I do. Doing a fuse box to 100amp service change. Only problem is their service drop is on the other side of the house than their fuse panel! Can i use the old fuse box as a junction box considering the new panel has to be where the service enters the house? I need to mount a junction box, approximately 24" x 24" onto a concrete round base (radar base platform) about 6' in diameter. I have unistrut, I am just wondering if there are some fittings that will allow for the curvature of the concrete .

If new fixture has a ground wire, then just connect grounds together with wire nuts/wagos, plus to the screw in the box. Quite a few light fixtures are not grounded, but the boxes are. Plastic fixture plus glass bulb means no electric path(usually).
