See BBB rating, reviews, complaints, get a quote & more.I would highly recommend BigSteelBox as an alternative to moving companies (approx. 1/2 the price, although you do have to pack the Box yourself) or renting a truck (which IS a bit cheaper BUT you don't have to do the driving, pay for gas, etc.. & you get the Box for a month rather than 4 days, which was the time allotted for a BC to AB move .
These boxes are super convenient and fairly priced but you really have to plan out your packing to avoid damage. They will likely move it using a Tilt-n-Load truck so you'll want all your heavy stuff at the "back"."Vancouver Home Movers were excellent at helping with our move and get our king size bed up in our new third floor townhouse. Second Big Steel Box - moved across BC last year. Decided against UHaul which we’d used before as they don’t have winter tires on their trucks and we were moving in January.
